Quitting
There's no quitting...
When you're committed.
I spoke with an old friend this week.
Their once thriving business hit a wall.
The work is valuable, the feedback exceptional.
So they're trying new ideas to get their message out there.
A client of mine faced a similar issue.
They once had a steady stream of projects.
That turned into a mere trickle, almost overnight.
So they used their skills to strengthen their network and offer.
In both cases these people are unconsciously applying the T.O.T.E model.
T.O.T.E is an active way to approach problem solving. A pathway to both doing and thinking differently. The letters stand for:
T: test, what you have already against what you want (and then don't throw the baby out with the bath water).
O: operate, meaning if you've not achieved your goal yet - try something different.
T: test again, to compare what you have now to your goal.
E: exit if the test shows the goal is met, exit the process.
It's the way to build the ultimate no-quitting system.
Try it on a challenge you're facing and let me know what happens.
