There's a massive difference between taking action and taking effective action.

There's a massive difference between taking action and taking effective action.

In bureaucratic office systems, I see lots of people filling in forms, writing reports, processing emails ...

and attending informational meetings.

Just about anything to prevent independent thinking, avoid making decisions and block things that might get different results.

These systems seem to have been perfectly designed (and refined) for that purpose. They keep people busy and preserve the status quo and power base.

Any thoughts on how AI might change this?
