Public Haiku number 3.

Public Haiku number 3.
Capturing the first Summer storm.

Wind bends the old trees

Rough shaken branches now cry

May’s confetti tears

I’m learning to write Haiku, a traditional form of Japanese poetry known for its simplicity. My teacher is a GPT with AI channelling the spirit of the great Haiku poet Matsuo Bashō.

A haiku is typically a three-line poem with a pattern of 5-7-5 syllables. And teh idea is to focus on nature and fleeting moments

What meaning do you make of this Haiku?

And why do you think I'm practicing this style of writing?
