Who steals wins.

It seems that way nowadays.

Synthetic artwork.
Synthetic writing.
Synthetic music.

AI has a lot to answer for.
Most of this is done thoughtlessly.
By people without talent, or practice.

The artist who can't mix colours.
The writer who has low imagination.
The musician who never learnt an instrument.

But do they really win?

Maybe they don't think about ethics and morals.

'Borrowing' other's life work without attribution, or question. Synthesis of multiple sources with no human value-add.

Deep down do they know they're imposters... Just without the syndrome.

And it's not just AI.

I saw a business process model, taken from a book, presented as the writer's own 'thought leadership'.

No permission.
No attribution.

That's not stealing like an artist.

It's plagiarism.
It's copyright infringement.

That's not okay.
